QuokkaPix

Watermark

Add a text or logo watermark without uploading the image

Use this page when one image needs a visible proof mark, brand logo or review label before sharing. The source image and logo file are selected locally in the browser; QuokkaPix creates a new export instead of changing the original.

Good fits

1
Mark a draft before sending it to a client.
2
Place a small logo in a corner before publishing.
3
Create a proof image while keeping the original clean.

Workflow

1
Upload the image.
2
Choose text watermark or upload a logo file.
3
Set opacity, scale, angle, padding and position.
4
Preview at final size and export.

Limits to check

1
A watermark is visible content, not metadata protection.
2
Very low opacity can disappear after compression.
3
A corner mark can be removed by cropping.

FAQ

Is the logo uploaded?

No. The logo is selected through the local browser file input.

Can I rotate the watermark?

Yes. Use the angle control for diagonal proof marks or straight corner logos.

Practical QA notes

Watermark placement checks

1
Do not cover product labels, faces or required details.
2
Check visibility on both light and dark areas.
3
Keep an unmarked original for future edits.

A watermark should protect without hiding the image

A watermark is useful only when it marks ownership or review status without destroying the useful part of the image. For product photos, keep the mark away from the item, labels and key edges. For proofs, make it visible enough to prevent reuse but light enough for the client to judge the image. Text watermarks and logo watermarks behave differently, so preview opacity, angle, scale and placement before exporting the final file.

1
Use a corner or repeated low-opacity pattern depending on the risk.
2
Keep an unwatermarked original for marketplace and final publication.
3
Check small previews because a readable watermark can become too heavy when reduced.
