How to create share cards for X and LinkedIn that still read in the feed

A strong share card works even when the preview is small: one clear message, a clean landscape layout and safe room for text and logos.

Recommended flow

1
Start with a strong horizontal composition. If the source image is vertical, fix the framing in Crop first.
2
In Resize, use the landscape preset for share and ad cards so you are designing against the right proportions from the start.
3
Keep the main subject and short text closer to the center because different apps and embeds may trim the outer edges differently.
4
Before publishing, test the card in a draft post or at least at a small preview size to make sure the message reads instantly.

What to watch

High contrast and one clear focal message usually outperform busy collages.
Tiny text that works only at full size almost always underperforms in feed previews.
One strong master layout can usually serve both X and LinkedIn when you want campaign consistency.

FAQ

Why does text near the border sometimes disappear?

Different platforms and embeds show previews a little differently. Safe margins around text and logos make the card more resilient.

Do I need separate versions for X and LinkedIn?

Not always. One solid landscape version is often enough if it remains readable and keeps critical text away from the edges.
